Daily Practices
This morning I started my day by sitting in silence for twenty minutes. I forget how nurturing it can be. In the last few months, many of the practices that nourish my soul have fallen away. Monday, I made a commitment to my women’s group to start meditating on a regular basis. I find as I recommit, I naturally want to do other things that feed me too, like yoga, daily exercise, and reading my affirmation cards.
Sometimes we need to create the structure again in our lives to make sure we are listening to the deeper part of ourselves. What practices do you need in your life to feel balanced and whole? Are you willing to make a commitment to start today?
